‘Is It Realistic?’: Top Republican Casts Doubt on Trump’s Deportation Quest

Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) cast doubt on President-elect Donald Trump’s plans to deport three million undocumented immigrants, noting he has to be “realistic” about what the government can do.

Thune, in an interview with Meet the Press on Sunday, noted that the incoming administration needed to pace itself and develop processes as the administration carries out its policy. But after host Kristen Welker noted Thune’s comments in 2016 that deporting everyone living in the U.S. illegally wasn’t realistic, he demurred.

Interesting, I see cracks already forming in Trumps immigration strategy. I think many republican officials that have been silent up to this point, are beginning to realize between the lawsuits and logistics, let alone the economic issues, Trumps rhetoric has major issues. To even implement his ideas, are going to be a monumental undertaking.
Agreed and it's splitting the Party of Trump into the MAGAts vs. the DOGE. Awesome! :corn:

I'm betting the DOGE will win since they have the money. The MAGAts will be left swinging in the breeze. Trump will do the same thing he did in the last midterms: Defund those who stand against him meaning the MAGAts will be unemployed after 2026 even if, like last time, the Republicans lose control of Congress.

Trump is all about the money. LOL The minute he's sworn in he becomes a lameduck president. He doesn't care about the Republican Party, only himself, He doesn't care about his legacy, only his bank account. Why should he give a shit about a bunch of dumbassed MAGAts?

There will be no mass deportations. It would cost too many big business owners money.

Trump will parlay threats of mass deportations into "Pay to Play" deals to line his pockets. He'll make a few token deportations and blame the Democrats for his failure to deport 99.9% of them.

The magats are going to be bigly mad when he also fails to deliver on this promise.

STEP BACK

“I mean, there’s a lot of people in this country who are here illegally,” Thune said.

Look at Trump's first term --> Trump is infamous for overpromising and under-delivering.

Section 1324 Title 8 is the key to ridding America of the ILLEGAL ALIEN PLAGUE

Yes - it's a federal felony to merely ENCOURAGE illegals to come to or reside in america. That means they get nothing. No welfare or drivers licenses or free school for their kids. And you can't give them a job or rent an apartment to them either. Enforce 1324 and these monsters will self-deport.

LOL we see you can't answer the question or be on topic. You sad demented magat.
In @TOP's favor, she has several limitations. Her bullshit should be flagged, but, as a person, she should be pitied as a low IQ substance abuser.

As long as she's not breaking the law, no one can force her to get help even though it's for her own good. She's not the only one on this forum or in many places around the USA.
