We have a strong and productive relationship with the SK government and are not actively being attacked, its an important strategic location to have soldiers safely stationed, and it is not much more expensive than having them in Kansas, so my answer off the cuff is no.
Reasonable answer.
What happens if US Forces get attack?
It's kind of easy being somewhere you are never attacked.
If we get attacked, should we claim we've been there too long and just leave?
.
For those of you who have NEVER served with a ROK soldier ... they will NOT run away. In fact charley avoided the ROK because those Koreans knew just how to fight ... and win.
Should we remain in Korea ... YES ... especially as long as that mental case is in charge of the north ... remember ... the Korean War is STILL going on.
