Maybe so, if you hate Obama.
It seems that Michele Bachmann has a habit of twisting history- national and personal - in an attempt to make herself more popular in each campaign stop.
For example, she gave a speech in New Hampshire pandering to the locals as "proud" because they were supposedly living in the state where the 'shot heard 'round the world' was fired.
Oops. Honest mistake, ignorance, or calculated attempt to ingratiate herself with an audience?
Her pandering is the issue, and her Waterloo, Iowa claim of a "spiritual" tie to a screen legend popular with area conservatives is just the most recent example.
Does she think nobody will fact-check her, or is she simply confident that GOP adherents will defend her lies and support her anyway?
Her path is littered with gaffes, misstatements and outright falsehoods, and the Republicans on this forum seem reluctant to address the issue.
Why?
