Is Nancy Pelosi helping or hindering the party?

What are your thoughts? No, I am not interested in attacking the woman personally, or making fun of her appearance or such. Is her leadership such that identifies with the average American Democrat, the Independent voter?

Being a woman in America is certainly part of the trouble, any woman faces added opposition when they are in a position of power. The democrats are still too dumb to realize it doesn't matter who is in charge, 'dark money' will attack them constantly. A saint would soon become a criminal in our world. If the democrats don't learn that people are guided by emotion over a few issues that are often used as wedges they will continue to occupy the periphery of politics. The dems need to learn how to label but do so in a manner that fits the opposition's actual lack of accomplishments.

"In Trump’s campaign speeches, his biggest applause lines came when he promised to prevent people from Muslim countries from entering the United States, when he pledged to build a wall on the border with Mexico, and when he advocated protectionist measures to save American jobs. Trump generated support and momentum for his campaign by offering voters an inflammatory brew of Islamophobia and economic nationalism. Today, however, this agenda is largely stalled. The courts have rejected the anti-Muslim travel ban, and Congress has rejected the wall. Meanwhile, Trump himself has embraced the Saudi Arabian monarchy, which helped popularize Islamist extremism, and has backed off from his threats to withdraw from nafta and impose hefty tariffs on goods from Mexico and China." How in the hell can any democrat not appreciate Nancy Pelosi's value? She's pro-abortion, she's a leading climate hysteric, she certainly recognizes the value of poor, uneducated voters, and she's a doormat for illegal immigration!

What's not to love?

Whacky Nancy epitomizes the stupidity that the Party of the Jackass wallows in these days. She is the poster gurl:

^Spot on.

I was thinking about this earlier after seeing one of the latest clips of her. I feel she needs to step down. Liberalism as a mental disorder jokes aside I don't think it's a psychiatric problem, rather a cognitive one as often comes with old age, dementia, or the like. I'm no doctor so I can't pretend to know what's going on but I can tell you the stress of her job is not helping her health. She needs to take care of herself and let someone who can lead her party take over.

She has become an albatross to the party. She was true to obama but since he opted to turn his back on traditional dem constituencies she helped him destroy the party.
All that forced her to abandon what she claimed to be about, now she cannot undo the damage. She needs to step away, call it needing to focus on family.
That said I hope she hangs around forever to insure the total demise.

There is something wrong with her. She has been incoherent lately

Lately??? She's always been a dingbat. She's the Michelle Bachmann of the dims. At least the republicans never made M B their leader in the House. In fact they had the good sense to boot her:
In November 2004, Republican Senate Minority Leader Dick Day appointed Bachmann as Assistant Minority Leader in charge of Policy for the Senate Republican Caucus.[71] In July 2005, the Republican Caucus removed her from her leadership position.

not sure why you bring up gender. Nancy has been in her current position for a long time, despite being female.
We know that Trump lacks grip on reality, but this is about Nancy. She may be representing her west coast constituents perfectly, but I am not sure about the rest of the country. That isn't her fault. Putting her in charge of the house (currently minority), makes me question her fellow reps representing their constituents. Why did they put her in charge when they had a chance to vote for someone else?
