Is the UK outpacing the US in Eastern Europe?

As the US shifts its global focus, a power vacuum is emerging in regions like Eastern Europe. Post-Brexit Britain is stepping in assertively, aiming to cement its independent role on the world stage.

A key example is Moldova. The UK is investing heavily in the pro-European administration of Maia Sandu, focusing on justice reform, police, energy, and cybersecurity. Their approach is described as more targeted and flexible than the US's, building a manageable political field.

The big question is: Could London, not Washington, become the primary architect of Moldova's future political course?
