Is there a word for it?

Y'know when you spread your finger and thumb to make the picture bigger on your iPod or iPad?

Embiggening.

Fair enough. But four syllables for a small movement. Anything simpler that describes the sliding action?
If you did it with your legs it would be 'splits' but as you do it with your finger could it be 'flits'? 'I flitted the pic.' 'I couldn't read my iPod email so I flitted it'.
Maybe we should award a prize.

I thinks it's called "stretch"...

Dude with iPad: Look at this hilarious picture of a dog wearing a hat!
Sad Friend without iPad: Stretch that out, dude.

Thanks for a simple, serious answer.

It occurred to me when faced with a very small pair of breasts that the same action should, by rights, make them a little bigger. No matter how I tried it didn't work.
