I have a very good friend who grew up in London, as an adult he moved to Surrey. He now after his retirement resides in the country, way out in the country. He moved for the exact reasons being talked about in this thread. What a shame to feel like a stranger in your own country. He would like to move here to the U.S but it is made very hard to do for someone like him as he is not a minority from a poverty country. VERY high character guy,....an executive for most of his career, a boat load of money,.....but for him it is made hard. Meanwhile a Somalian with nothing is practically picked up at their shackstep and carried here by hand. No reason for that.
