Disagreed. More likely, like the US prior to 9/11, complacency by the top leadership is the major factor in why security and intelligence were lacking.

You may disagree with some or all of what I said, but it is always best to have intelligence embedded with the enemy!

At the time it was circulated Hamas was too broke to fund the attack. Then Biden made Hamas' benefactor Iran rich.

I completely agree about Human Intelligence (HUMINT). That's where the US went wrong after the Cold War ended; we relied upon satellite intel and got 9/11 as a result.

Now the Republicans want to kill both the CIA and FBI in order to weaken US national defense.

The thing is, they are not funny clowns, they are very dangerous evil clowns!

It is not about Conservative vs. Liberal ideologies any more- it is a matter of Morality vs. Immorality now in the Trump Era.

And certainly a choice of either Democracy or Autocracy!

The people need to wise up and know what is truly at stake here!

Even though the Democrats are not always right on every issue, they seem to be mostly Benevolent with policy.

And even though the Republicans are not always wrong, they seem to be Malevolent, in terms of policy today, and they will be that way so long as Donald Trump is leading them.

So the choice is as clear as a bell for me today!

More like pity and SMH. Nothing to be done from our side of the Internet. I do wonder about his circumstances and how much is either true or used to be true.

Hawkeye goes on and on about how America has collapsed, and just look around everyone is living in poverty. The people around me are not living in poverty. Go a little further a field, and many of the people who used to live in poverty are not living in poverty. Maybe the problems he sees with America are his problems alone.

He sees the world through the bottom of an empty bottle. IMO, he's depressed and demented. Agreed, America is a lot better than he and other Trumpers are depicting. All anyone has to do is go to a mall or restaurant at meal time.
