Really.

If there's one thing that the Repukes are good at, it's alienating a lot of their own base (senior citizens), and everyone younger than 50 years old.
 
They want the economy to fall apart and hope this time somehow the voters will blame the Democrats.

They like to hold America's economy hostage to extract policies they cannot get by campaigning on them and winning elections
