A stick crossing a stick to mark a grave site for others to take precaution has been a symbol of the dead long before the religious stole the cross from the dead calling it a crucifix. The religious are always stealing what they pick and choose while attempting to attribute what they steal to their factually proven foundation of religious lies to assist the selfish and the greedy in taking advantage of those from a time of weakness for power and control over the many.
A cross around someone's neck is extremely offensive because it symbolizes a person who values a factually proven foundation of religious lies more than they value human life hence what it means to be religious as well as a person who glorifies the religious stealing from even the dead.
A cross on a grave symbolizes a dead person's final resting place like it has long before the religious stole it in attempt to further glorify their factually proven foundation of religious lies.
In one version of this story about crosses on graves being covered up in Bologna Italy, I read that the crosses had been removed to not offend others and now I see in this story that the graves were covered up.
After thousands of years of war and divide leading to the death of millions if not billions of people to this very day over factually proven foundations of religious lies, preventing the religious of any / every religion from offending people by not allowing anyone of any religion to flash offensive religious garbage on their person or on a building is quite obviously a step in a positive direction (only the selfish, the greedy and the ignorant would tell you different) but even that is an empty shell of what need be done which is the destruction of religion to end thousands of years of war and divide over factually proven foundations of filthy religious lies.

All anyone obviously needs to do to prove what I share is not fact at all is simply share one factual example of anything going poof into existence out of nothingness. As long as religion exists there will always be war and divide because that is where the following and spreading of lies leads as thousands of years already proves.
