People did not blame Bush for anything untill his last three years.
Not true. I personally blamed Bush for almost everything, because his incompetence resulted in negative consequences in almost every area of domestic & foreign policy.
Dixie's post is entertaining, though. It's like a diary of how much he suffered during the Bush years, doing what Rush admitted...trying to "carry water" for that flunkie.
I'm fine with America judging Obama now, in 2010, in 2012 and in 2016. I'm fairly optimistic about the years ahead....

Damn dude... when ONEZIES pwns you, THAT is really bad!
I think the record shows, other than maybe September 11-14, 2001... All Democrats blamed Bush and Cheney for Everything, even stuff they weren't remotely responsible for. Web sites were borne specifically for the purpose of blaming Bush and Cheney, merchandise was sold blaming Bush and Cheney, songs were composed, books were written and movies made, blaming Bush and Cheney... I think they even had an animated cartoon series devoted to blaming Bush and Cheney! This all followed the 2000 election.... you remember, the one Bush stole... Diebold machines... Haliburton... etc.,etc.,etc.!
Can you name a President, with the possible exception of FDR, that came into office under worse circumstances in so many areas than Obama?
Dix said, "All Democrats blamed Bush nad Cheny for Everything (sic)..."
How then did Bush have a 90% plus approval rating in October, November, December of 2001 and going into 2002?
Well I don't know jarhead, why don't you tell us all about how 9 out of 10 people approved of Bush when he was speaking of the Axis of Evil and 'standing with us or against us in this war on terror'? I would like to hear you explain that one to me. Please enlighten me on how the public was almost unanimously satisfied with Bush, Cheney, Powell, and Rumsfeld through 2001 and into 2002, when they were 'making their case' for war in Iraq? Please elaborate on that!
People are stupit.
*shrug*

Well yeah. Patriotic to the point of stupidity I suppose would be more accurate.
Only a few of us saw thru the axis of evil and we must attack Iraq hyperbole.
People are patriotic. It wouldn't matter who was in office; if the country gets attacked, their rating skyrockets...

No one "saw through" anything, there was nothing to "see through" and nearly everyone in their right mind (90%) agreed with Bush, that we needed to do something about radical Islamic fanatics and those who facilitate them. And all of you, including your representatives who listened to 90% of their constituency, walked willingly into the Iraq war, because you supported what the president was doing and the actions he was taking. Once the flag-draped coffins started arriving, you ALL bailed on the president, and denied you ever supported this! Suddenly, half of that 90% is trying to claim it was with the 10% all along, that they were never fooled by the hyperbole. I say there is a 90% chance you are lying, if you claim you were among this original 10% who didn't approve of Bush during the lead-up to war.
Regardless of what you conclude there... one of us has held the same consistent position throughout the whole ordeal.... and one of us has changed our mind. In terms of foreign policy, which is the more stupid?
Here's another thing.... If Iraq is such a quagmire we shouldn't be in, why hasn't President Obama withdrawn? Why does he continue to say in speech after speech, that the mission in Iraq is important, that we must finish the job? Why does he continue to tell us how this success is vital to us? It just seems really very ODD to me, if Iraq is such a terrible mistake and fuck up!
Oh, there was plenty to "see through" alright.
The very first time Powell said the administration had rock solid proof that Iraq was involved with 9/11, and had WMD's, but wouldn't show We the People the evidence he claimed backed up his allegations, I KNEW they were lying.
I can still hear their ridiculous excuses: Oh we'd love nothing more than to show the public the photographic evidence to prove our point, but to do so would compromise national security.
