It's "highly" classified

And if you are Hillary?

Does ONE instance of mishandling classified material compare to Hilliary's...thousands of emails over a period of YEARS ???

As secretary of state, Hillary Clinton signed a nondisclosure agreement in which she acknowledged that classified information is classified regardless of whether it is “marked or unmarked” — a distinction which undermines one of the Democratic presidential candidate’s main defenses of her use of a home-brew email system.

Signers of the document, the existence of which the Washington Free Beacon reported on Friday, also agree that all information that they have access to “is now and will remain the property of, or under the control of the United States government unless and until otherwise determined by an authorized official or final ruling of a court of law.”

The “Classified Information Nondisclosure Agreement,” or SF-312, also makes clear that “classified information is marked or unmarked classified information, including oral communications.”

I would say Hillary should be going to prison for a long time....

The situations are totally different. Petraeus knew exactly what he was doing. He knew that the material was classified and he simply allowed his lover access to it. By any standard that is, if not treason, at least dereliction of duty.

None, literally none, of the matrerial in question with Hillary was classified at the time. None, literally none has been proven to have gone anywhere it should not have.

Then, of course, the practice was common among officials at the time.

Ha. You weren't saying this about the bush email controversy back in 2007. Why wasn't bush thrown in the slammer?

"Congressional requests for administration documents while investigating the dismissals of the U.S. attorneys required the Bush administration to reveal that not all internal White House emails were available, because they were sent via a non-government domain hosted on an email server not controlled by the federal government."

And as for Petraeus...

"Petraeus admitted that he loaned Broadwell eight binders containing highly classified information regarding war strategy, intelligence capabilities and identities of covert officers. Petraeus kept the binders in an unlocked desk drawer at his home, instead of a secure facility that's required for handling classified material. "

"I'm Hillary Clinton. I don't know how to to handle classified information, but what difference does it make- so elect me for president".

Hillaries methods were common until 2014 when they were changed. She is now accused (by those who should know better) of breaking regulations that were not put into effect until after she left office. The idea of retroactive classifying is also a rather new one as the government is in the habit of classifying things long after there is any need. In order to see if something was important at the time it is necessary to know just exactly what it is/was. The CIA is in the habit of of classifying laundry lists.
