Jack Daniels

Yup. True dat. I've been on the tour through the distillary. The reason is that even though it's an abstemious evengelical county the lime stone aquifer there produces some of the absolute best water for distilling whiskey. It's virtually iron free. Most of the best bourbon/sour mash distillaries are in that region. Jack Daniel, Jim Beam, Wild Turkey and my personal favorite Makers Mark. I'm sipping on some of that right now! :)

The terroir makes all the difference.
