They were SO hoping for the 'addled/lost in space' narrative. They're really scrambling now on how to spin a good foreceful speech, that even many on the right are reluctantly admitting was solid.

So we have watched the idiot mumbling his words, speak incoherent sentences and being unable to find is way off a stage but we aren't supposed to think he wasn't "jacked up"? We know the state of the union is nothing but a fucking sitcom. Are we supposed to believe that moron was working at his desk until 5.l minutes before the speech? Or more likely he spent the day napping eating ice cream and get stabbed with B12 all day. stfu
