Renowned Democratic strategist James Carville has delivered a stunning prediction that the Trump administration is in the “midst of a collapse” and will crumble within four to six weeks.

Carville, 80, on Friday urged his fellow Democrats to play “possum,” clear out of the way and let Republicans implode as President Trump plows ahead with his dramatic overhaul of the federal government.

“What I have said very publicly is that Democrats need to play possum. This whole thing is collapsing,” Carville mused to Mediaite founder Dan Abrams.

The elderly Dem guru was the top strategist in Bill Clinton’s 1992 campaign, when Democrats soared back into the White House after 12 years of Republican rule.

Mr. Owl is very good at predicting political trends. It's probably because his biggest concern is the economy and the markets. So he doesn't have the kind of emotional reactions that we more partisan types do, to DC events. He predicts that next year the (R)s are going get shellacked in the mid-terms. (D)s will control both houses, and Trump will be impeached and possibly removed. He also thinks that we are in for a recession, rising unemployment and inflation.

Still, people don't entirely realize what has happened. The party now in control of the US executive branch is a third party built out of the corpses of two prevailing parties. It goes by the name Republican but that is nearly a historical accident. Nearly all the top people are refugees from the Democrat Party and were never welcomed and even hated by the legacy establishment of the Republicans. So far, there is every indication of the intention: to dismantle government as we've known it for a century or more. I consider that a good thing in general.

MAGA is on the way to collapsing on its own as it gleefully goes about collapsing the federal government. In the short term this may look like strength and even good thinking, if you don't think. But the premise is badly flawed as the wreckage assumes that what is being wrecked is without importance or use when absolutely nothing was done beforehand to verify the specifics of these assumptions. Each and every employee
is one such unverified assumption, and so is each and every department of each and every agency. It's all being done in the blind.
