Both Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune will stop filming in front of a live studio audience for the near future, due to the ongoing threats of coronavirus. Both game shows tape at Sony Pictures Television's Culver City lot. Many shows and movies have been affected by the health scare, taking preventative measures to limit the spread of the virus. The upcoming Bond film No Time to Die's release has officially been postponed, and others are sure to follow suit.
According to Variety, the decision has been made for an array of reasons. This includes the fact that both shows' audience members tend to be older, and many travel from out of town by airplane. Also of concern is Jeopardy host Alex Trebek's immunocompromised state due to his diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

Great tribute to Alex Trebek. Kudo's to Hollywood.
