Joe Biden's FDA approved Bovaer for use in US dairy cattle in May

Bret and heather were just talking about this....the chances that this is a good idea are essentially zero.

Bovaer is being added to beef and milk because it is thought to "help prevent climate change".

Bovaer is a new feed additive or new animal drug. It's made by DSM-firmenich.The major shareholder is Blackrock.

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) published a report in 2006 titled:'Livestock's Long Shadow.'

That report purported to "prove" that methane was causing "climate change".

Specifically, the report's authors claimed that livestock causes 18% of the world's so-called "greenhouse gases".

Methane emitted by livestock is part of the biogenic carbon cycle, a natural process, BTW.

COP26 took place in Glasgow, Scotland, in November 2021. COP's the annual photo-op and feelgood session for jet-setting "climate warriors", in case you don't know.

During COP26, 100 countries signed the Global Methane Pledge to cut methane emissions by 30% by 2030.

So, Bovaer, the Blackrock-financed DSM product, was designed.

• The active ingredient in Bovaer is 3-nitrooxypropanol (3-NOP).
• 3-NOP works by inhibiting an enzyme called methyl-coenzyme M reductase (MCR).
• MCR is involved in the production of methane in a ruminant's stomach (rumen). (in case you're a Democrat, I guess I need to explain that cows are ruminants).

Joe Biden's FDA has approved Bovaer for the US market.

How do you like that?

During the 16-19th centuries, an estimated 60-100 million North American bison (ruminant mammals) roamed the Great Plains, no doubt emitting methane.

Yet, the planet was in the depths of the Little Ice Age, the coldest climate epoch in the last 10,000 years.
