I don’t know enough about Tyler to make a comparison. I DO know enough to know that Trump is the worst president in my lifetime, which goes to Truman. I DO know enough about history to know that the last president who could have been worse was 150 years ago - Andrew Johnson.

But, definitely in the bottom three. The ONLY one to have the distinction of:

1) Losing the popular vote when elected
2) Impeached or resigned, and
3) Failed to be re-elected.

Trump was infinitely worse, if only because the presidency wasn't considered NEARLY as important in 1840. Because so much is expected of a president today, much more can be fucked up.
