-ICE's jurisdiction is ONLY on matters related to immigration.
-They do NOT have normal police powers or authority.
-To stop a vehicle they MUST have reasonable cause to believe it contains an undocumented immigrant.
-To draw their weapon on someone they MUST have reasonable cause that their lives are in *DIRECT* danger.
-They CANNOT detain you without reasonable cause to believe you are undocumented.
-They CANNOT detain a US citizen for passing by the area.
-Ice had NO jurisdiction to stop or interact with this woman they murdered at all, never mind pull out a gun.
-ICE does not have the power to *detain* you for non-immigration matters, nor to force you to comply.
-If they see you commit a federal crime they *can* arrest you, BUT they must verbally order and engage in that arrest.
-They CANNOT detain you without arresting you.
-They CANNOT demand you exit a vehicle without first informing you that you are under arrest.
