Others think it's a very big deal if they're not allowed to take a job without having to pay union dues.
These are not areas for compromise.
We're going to fight about these things forever
or we can go our separate ways and do our own thing.
My premise is that if we're not going to be imposing laws and tax codes on one another,
we'll get along better as citizens of neighboring nations
than we ever will as countrymen.
For me, remaining unified requires EVERYBODY to lower personal standards.
There's always a way to compromise... and still do our own thing... I proved that by teaching 30 years...
