judge could void Trump’s pardon for Flynn

Former federal prosecutor Glenn Kirschner responded to President Donald Trump’s pardon of retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn by saying that it’s entirely possible that the judge in Flynn’s case could nullify the pardon.

“Just as Judge Emmet Sullivan refused to grant Barr’s corrupt motion to dismiss, I hope Judge [Emmet] Sullivan sets a hearing on whether this pardon is corrupt & hence illegal/void,” said Kirschner.

Civil Rights attorney Andrew Laufer agreed, saying that he too wants to see how Judge Sullivan deals with the development.

“Flynn’s pardon now needs to be entered in the Court docket. Let’s see what Judge Sullivan does next,” Laufer tweeted. “Remember, the Court isn’t a rubber stamp. It had to approve Flynn’s plea withdrawal and Barr’s attempt at dismissing the prosecution.”

Why bother, the guy has already been exposed for what he is, not likely he is ever going to hold a position of any kind that effects anyone else

If the pardon is voided, he could down the road testify against trump or his associates

I don’t think so largely cause Trump was never so stupid as to allow a Flynn into his inner circle, he only used him, and knows little of the Trump hierarchy

the judicial branch has no power or authority to deny a specific power of the executive branch........any attempt to do so would be a usurpation of power and requires that said judge be removed by absolute force, tarred, feathered, and executed

Its so good to know the you are more versed, more experienced in this matter than former federal prosecutors. Get lost

You are only guessing. You have no idea what Flynn might know- all the more reason to treat him this way.

:oprah:

Sometimes I wonder why I still come here.
Well it is one of the last bastions of free speech on the internet. Guess that’s the downside of free speech.
Incredible someone would post something that dumb.

you are the very reason why the constitution doesn't mean jack shit anymore.........you NEED government to tell you what it means instead of being able to read it for yourself........the sure way to slavery, loser.

I believe a pardon assigns guilt, and I'm thinking there are plenty of state level charges that Flynn can be charged with.

Ford carried a note in his wallet after he pardoned Nixon. It referred to Burdick V United States. It said a pardon is an imputation of guilt and an acceptance is a confession.

I'd bet against that happening. Flynn has dishonored himself, but he's a free man thanks to Trump. Expect more Friends of Trump (FoT) to be given pardons....well, any that have been indicted or whatever the legal bullshit says. Those who haven't been indicted/whatever by January 20th are fucked.
