A federal judge Tuesday struck down a key portion of Democrat Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s new gun law that made it illegal to load more than seven bullets in a magazine.
District Judge William Skirting ruled the seven-round limit was arbitrary and not “substantially related” to the state’s interest in protecting public safety.
