July becomes deadliest month for US in Afghanistan

KABUL – Four more Americans were killed Monday when a roadside bomb exploded in eastern Afghanistan, NATO said, making July the deadliest month ever for U.S. troops in this war.

A NATO statement did not give nationalities, but U.S. spokesman Lt. Robert Carr confirmed that all four were Americans. Their deaths bring to 55 the number of international service members killed in July, also the deadliest month for NATO forces.

I wonder where signalmanken is now that our troops are dying under the direction of Barack Hussein Obama?

The silence is deafening, Ken. Where are you numbers now? :readit:

He sold out the anti-war voter (huge dem block), because he's afraid of looking weak to the chickenhawks.

we shouldn't have ever invaded afghanistan. I'm as guilty as everyone else for having a blood lust after 9/11. But, in retrospect this invading afghanistan was some idiotic dim witted crap. Especially when a smart mofo would have used other options to capture OBL.

welcome back Joe Dirt, it's been lonely. Not many anti-war folk here mostly left with the chickenhawk righties.

We probably should have sent special ops forces in instead.

Getting rid of the Taliban was a huge plus, just extremely expensive in terms of both dollars and American lives. Also, it gave OBL a huge window with which to flee the country. It's probably responsible, more than anything else, for why OBL hasn't been captured.
