Ironic that a racist like Guano is recommending it. That said it's a pretty good film, plenty of artistic licence though. There is a scene at the end where he calls from a pay phone in Mississippi to Connecticut to find out the verdict in the case. He would've had to call the operator, establish a trunk line to New York City, and so on. Making that long-distance call could have taken all day and cost a fortune.
