Have you ever thought of the practical benefits there are to having a set code of ethics which everyone buys into, which is not as clumsy or limited or as weak as our justice system and our laws?

Have you ever thought that our freedom of speech is only possible for the long term, if we are a Christian and moral society?

What would free speech in this Christian and moral society you speak of look like? We have close to 1000 years of history in Europe from the dark ages up to colonialism to see just how free those people were, and that's a big reason why we have the freedoms we do today.
