No. Free speech enables a sane and civil society. Regimented societies as in the USSR or China or Nazi Germany or Saudi Arabia have coerced "orderliness" but are they saner than the free societies of the West, or more productive in the arts and science?
We are seeing that those who have been given the freedom to say whatever they wish, but without the required Christian or moral foundation to be able to handle that freedom prudently, are pushing our society closer and closer to self destruction.
