Sorry, I don’t want our laws or anything else based on the morals of the Bible. Yahweh killed young children for mocking a bald man, approved of dashing children’s heads upon the rocks, ordered genocide of the Caaninites and made a man king who murdered his commanding officer so he could fornicate with his wife.
We shouldn't throw out the baby with the bathwater.
We should use what obviously works and disregard what doesn't in order to adopt a set of values which will prevent our doing things that most everyone agrees is/are killing our society.
We CAN'T continue this way we are going.
