LOL. Who else is "stuck in Iraq"? Man this is some serious spin and it must be talking points, two libs saying the same thing within minutes? When were they delivered?
Why did President Bush and the Republicans do this to demoralize our troops?
They must really despise them, deep down in side, and think of them as just "pawns" in their chess game, biting the dust, sacraficing themselves for the sake of the king and queen....
I can't BELIEVE they brought in the "troops" in to Kerry's statement when HE NEVER EVEN MENTIONED "the troops" or soldiers that evening....he was talking about the Bush Policies and mannerisms that have harmed us....true political discussion....
But the Administration, and their other Pawns and Rooks, decided it was "right and just" to demoralize our troops for the sake of exploitation of this, with the republican spin and twisting, regardless of harming our troops, doing their bidding, with their lives.
It is a SAD day, indeed!
Well said, Prakosh.Kerry is a mindless fucking Dunce who should be locked up around election time. He lost to Bush in a fradulent election. He had a $4 million dollar election fraud fund especially set aside to fight the fraud. When it came time to stand up and fight for the vote, he folded. He made numerous gaffs during his own campaign. And he continues to make them. Instead of making complex issues simple, he continuously makes simple issues complex. I have grown to dislike him over the past 3 years. I happen to think he is right about this and that the miliatry is mostly made up of people who are unable to go to college or are unable to pay for it without the help of veterans benefits, but saying so or saying something that might be interpreted as saying so in the middle of a close and closely watched election campaign might not be the wisest move. And this is coming from a Vietnam vet who was against the Vietnam war and supported Kerry's statements before Congress and knows that everything that Kerry said about atrocities and other things connected to Vietnam is true. However, from the time of his "reporting for duty" statement at the end of his acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention in 2004, I have become more and more disenchanted with him. At this point I am just disgusted with him. In short, as he has grown older and richer, he has become someone I no longer recognize, nor support.
In this remark he was remarking how the President is going to stick those poor "uneducated" people in Iraq. It was still a hack at the President, it just unintentionally got some on the troops at the same time. It was a gaff, it shouldn't have been said, and the spin afterward has been hilarious to watch.in the previous one liner, and all of those prior to this, he was speaking about the president and his administration and advisors, and their faults and mistakes and lies that they passed on were things that have prolonged this war in Iraq, which makes us "stuck" there.....
Troops were not who he was talking about on the "not doing their homework" statement Damo....
And the Republicans pulled out this one liner and INSERTED their OWN WORDS to SAY that John Kerry's gaff, meant this about the troops, trying to deflect these comments about the President and INTENTIONALLY MADE THIS IN TO A STATEMENT ABOUT THE TROOPS, by intentionally taking it out of context, not discussing the issues that were being discussed, the decisions the president and his teams have made, that has gotten us "stuck, in Iraq"....and yes, the troops are the ones physically stuck there, and the American people as well are stuck there with the taxes being borrowed and owed by us for being there, because of poor decisions by the republican decision makers, in running this war, including rumsfeld and the President of the USA...

on this one...you have NO IDEA of what you are talking about...sorry, but you don't....
not about how you have changed over the 3 years and about kerry not have the "umph" to fite the fraud that occured in the election...because I totally agree with you...
But your assesment of what Kerry said and meant is TOTALLY WRONG....
yes, he left a word out of a poorly delivered one liner, but the crowd MOST CERTAINLY got it , and laughed really hard...this is NOT being shown on tv when they show kerry's oneliner flub....
This is MOST MERTAINLY the case with the media, I am still watching it and it has NEVER BEEN SHOWN IN FULL ON CNN, not last night and not today, not has it been shown in full on FOX, and even msnbc has NOT been showing the full clip ANYMORE, other than on olberman's show...
they want a controversy to make the otherwise boring, blow away race, more interesting...that is the media conglomerates, want this, and the repubs just want to deflect away from their own incompetent record in Iraq.imo.
Kerry, first of all, had a lower GPA than Bush at the very same school. An attempt to say he was "uneducated" is laughable. That isn't who he was saying was "uneducated" and that is very clear...
This pretense that supposedly somebody that went to Harvard and got a better GPA than Kerry is "uneducated" is silly spin that is so easily shown to be wrong that I can't believe the Dems are falling for it!
