Incorrect. Musk has the power now. The Reds and Dems agreed on a bill. Musk stopped it. He did a bunch of X posts threatening Republicans who were voting for it. They killed the bill. Trump was silent. Musk did about 100 posts on it. Trump played golf. That showed us who has the power.
Will Musk last doing that? Who knows. Trump does like to golf. He has an enormous ego. If he sees Musk as getting credit for running the Repubs, he may blow up. Musk did drop about 300 million in his campaign though.

Not really. Remember, it doesn't matter who acts the leader, the one on paper and the one with the REAL authority is still Trump.

OBVIOUSLY Musk, while not a brilliant man, is far smarter than Trump. But that doesn't matter. When Trump gets on a tear against Musk because he's stealing attention Trump WILL use his "power" in the most toddler-like and vituperative fashion imaginable.

Musk will cease to have any power soon enough. And then his empire will be threatened because Trump won't stop with just exiling him, he'll fuck up Musk's heavy reliance on government contracts now.

It's "good" for Musk right now, but not for long.
