The Koch brothers are globalist. They're also political switch hitters. Once they were libertarians, then Republicans and now they're talking about supporting Democrats.

The globalist brothers have their fortune spread all over the globe and oppose anything that cost the corporation money. They're behind single payer now because they would like to increase their American holdings now that the economy is roaring. They like the single payer idea because government provided insurance in America, like their other holdings all over the world with socialized medicine would relieve Koch industries in America from providing health insurance for their workers. The brothers can afford their own private doctors and get into the best hospitals in America just like politicians.

Follow the money! It ain't rocket science!
 
Crap analysis. The fact is universal medicine would save us a ton of money. We could eliminate the VA, Medicare, and Medicaid. Put that money in the pot. the cost of insurance that actually comes out of your pay would be gone. The health insurance companies, whose business model is denying healthcare you paid for to make more money would also go. Other industrialized countries supply universal care at half our price. They get better coverage and have better results. We could do that, except the hospitals and doctors would try and loot the system.

And Americans are afraid of change and distrust what is obviously a great improvement. If they believe they are getting good care, they will close their eyes to the obvious problems our system has. You can get seriously ill, or get in an accident in other countries and not go bankrupt. Why is that bad?":
