The White House Press Office released a transcript where they had altered of one of Biden's many nasty statements.
White House stenographers are widely considered by reporters who cover the executive branch to be very professional and accurate with their transcriptions. It is highly unusual for the press office to dispute what the stenographers heard.

The altered transcript that the White House Press Office released offended the professional and proud stenographers.
The supervisor further declared that the way the situation was handled amounted to “a breach of protocol and spoilation of transcript integrity between the Stenography and Press Offices.”

Kudos to the White House stenographers. I'm sure the Democrats would alter trial transcripts if they could get away with it. I wonder if the National Archives have an unedited, unaltered copy of Hur's interviews with Biden?
In any case, the Stenographer Corp deserves our respect. They have honor and professional integrity. Two foreign concepts for the Democrats.
