Kyle found Not Guilty. Can Ahmaud Arbery killers now be found Guilty?

Shot while fighting over a shotgun after having verifiably committed a crime... hard to think they'd be found very guilty.

wrong......they had no reason to chase up on arbery when they already had a description and could easily lead law enforcement to him.........they were totally responsible and murdered him

He was killed while running near his home.
Mr. Arbery was running in Satilla Shores when a man standing in his front yard saw him go by, according to a police report. The man, Gregory McMichael, said he thought Mr. Arbery looked like a man suspected in several break-ins in the area and called to Travis McMichael, his son.

According to the police report, the men grabbed a .357 Magnum handgun and a shotgun, got into a pickup truck and chased Mr. Arbery, trying unsuccessfully to cut him off. A third man was also involved in the pursuit, according to the report and other documents.

The video shows a struggle before three shotgun blasts.
The cellphone video, shot by Mr. Bryan, is about a half-minute long. It shows Mr. Arbery running along a shaded two-lane residential road when he comes upon a white truck, with Travis McMichael standing beside its open driver’s side door with a shotgun. Greg McMichael, his father, is in the bed of the pickup with a handgun.

Mr. Arbery runs around the truck and disappears briefly from view. Muffled shouting can be heard before Mr. Arbery emerges, fighting with Travis McMichael outside the truck as three shotgun blasts echo.

Being Georgia, wouldn't be surprised, if you go out of your way to unnecessarily pull a shotgun on another person and that person reacts by attempting to remove the shotgun from you it has to be self defense, has to be, especially since the other guy ain't around to say he reacted out of self defense

Oh archives. I was coming at this with a Red Team/Blue Team perspective. Looks like Red Team won in Wisconsin, it would figure to be fair, Blue Team would 'win' in Georgia. Plus, the dead guy is Black, so that should count for something.

Probably a Bad Idea to grab someone's shotgun. Especially the wrong end.

They didn't have to put themselves in that situation. He (Arbury) did charge the dude with the shotgun, and paid a price..

They could have avoided that situation, that's where they will have problems.

I think Travis McMichael will be lucky to escape this with a life sentence. He armed himself, chased down a black kid, confronted the black kid with a shotgun and then got all "But it was self defense!" after shit went sideways.

Gregory McMichael will get, I believe, a 10-20 year stretch. He's the one who first armed himself and he's the one who instigated the chase.

That Roddy guy? I say he gets 10 years...
