The Palisades fire started around 10:30 AM PST Tuesday.

We can see that on the GOES visible satellite imagery (above) that Dr. Mass was able to pinpoint that location just east of the Summit Community.

And, lo and behold, there are power lines at that location, attached to wooden poles.

What's more, the Ting power sensor network noted disturbances in that power system just before the fire broke out on Tuesday morning

.Southern California Edison will have a lot of questions to answer in the coming weeks.

Should this be true, the fire would not have occurred had the lines been de-energized prior to the high wind event which began on Tuesday.

Democrats govern LA.
