Maybe that is not the case. The guys in question managed to cleanup after the horrific tornadoes in April of 2011. They know a bit about storm work.

The fun part is that my new company, a power construction company that uses union workers, is not in NJ. We have people in Conn and NY working to restore the power.

I've searched for more stories about this. ALL I find is the usual right wing echo chamber suspects...Breitbart, Malkin, the blaze. And they all cite Bill Hitchcock from WAFF in Alabama's story you posted.

I wanted to say this but I know WB is very sensitive so I didn't want to start trouble.

But yeah, where's the evidence of any of this? This reads like just another right wing fantasy -they always do this and this has invented bullshit written all over it.

Did I say anything about this being politically motivated? I believe what the article said was that crews were turned away because they were nonunion. Unless you see unions as strictly political organizations....

What sickens me is how the right wing echo chamber will take a lie and metastasize it. It is a cancer on our society. So I have no problem starting trouble.

So unless the article supplies the union local number, union rep and perhaps the phone number to the local union hall, it has to be bullshit? lol Okey dokey.

I just brought in a news story I found and thought worth discussing. At least no one is defending the union's decision. That is a plus.

You FIRST have to prove this happened. And you are already trying to move past that and belittle anyone who doesn't believe it's true.

Um, obviously BFGrn read that story, since he referenced it in his very first post.

There is zero evidence provided that this happened. Just something one guy said. For all we know he made it up out of whole cloth or he had a fight with a union guy and claimed the guy told him to get fucked because he wasn't in a union.

There's zero evidence of anything, nor is there even the name of a union provided. It sounds like bullshit to me. Show me some actual evidence including the unknown union's story, and I would offer an opinion. Otherwise this is just right wing wanking material.
