The public is increasingly skeptical of the health care reform bill signed into law last week, a new CBS News poll shows.


More Americans now disapprove of the legislation, and many expect their costs to rise and the quality of their care to worsen; few expect the reforms to help them.

I wouldn't be so sure. If you polled TEA party recipients of Medicare on the specifics of Medicare, without mentioning that it's Medicare, most would probably be against it. Until you mentioned it was Medicare.

Fiscally this is the largest piece of legislation ever passed. Likewise it is the most controversal ever passed against the will of a majority of American's. I think it is a safe bet that the next two election cycles wipe out the power of the democrats.

If you think that 53% of the nation are "neo-cons" you have fallen out of the stupid tree and hit every branch on the way down.

People are hacked off, and most of the benefits (and many of the best ones) don't even start until 2014. (Yeah, 2014). Like kids not being refused for pre-conditions...

During the next three years there will be chances to "fix" portions of this to make it palatable by the populace. And if Obama isn't wise enough to take those chances he'll not only be a 1 termer, but this major piece of legislation will still get overhauled, he'll just have as much input as a Republican in a super minority in the Senate...
 
IF you think republicans didn't lie thier asses off and that number will plumet once Obama finishes explainin. Then you should work on Palin's bid for President.
 
The Republicans did a great marketing campaign against this bill, from Death Squads to the non-existant Cornhuskier kickback!
 
you'll see moderate teabaggers falling off the bandwagon big time when they realize the rich are paying for most of this and it'll help lots of them. The racist will stay no matter as they don't want another dollar going to the poor.

A GED is just not enough anymore, if the employer that pays you to clean the warehouse is paying your insurance you won't have a big change TINGED as we all know you'd need almost a decade to make $250,000
