ROCKY MOUNT, Va. (AP) - A congressman said Thursday that he will not retract a letter warning that unless immigration is tightened, "many more Muslims will be elected" and use the Quran to take the oath of office.

Just substitute a couple of wouds and what does this guy sound like ?
Words could be Torah and Jews....

he's the face of the new republican party...

or perhaps the mask has just been pulled from the face of the old republican party... the party of white christian americans.... they may have a few tokens to attempt to maintain the ruse, but the fact is that jews, blacks and muslims are really not welcome in today's republican party...

He has a point, if Muslim come here to make this an Islamic state they need to be rejected. If they accept Western prinicpals of goverment they should be accepted. We need to make those points plan and reject the Islamic population that come here to change our country.

Failure to do this tast will result in us having the problems like France and the UK. Not a pretty thing to see.

We don't see a huge influx of Muslims here, we aren't close enough to their nations. Worrying about what book people use to swear into Congress, especially when they don't actually use books during the actual swearing ceremony is a total useless waste of time.

You missed the point Dam. a book isn't necessary and many don't use one, but using the Koran is different because it is more that a religious text it is also a politicial text. Islam is more than religion, it is a politicial, govermental and judicial text.

No book is necessary for swearing in, but if you have one it is the Bible.

None of them use a book at all....

At least look it up. They all take the oath together sans books. Later they get pictures taken with books, but it isn't the ceremony. It doesn't matter what book they get a picture taken with, they don't take oaths on books!
