I was speaking to my SIL who lives in France. She said anti-LePen ad's all over are comparing her to Rump. Morphing her face into his, putting his face under her hair... that type of thing.

It appears to be working as the polls show her dropping since the ads started.

We should know in a few hours.

Politics is fits and spurts. We slowly make progress, then they pull us back a little, but never back to where we started. 8 years ago the debate was over changing the national healthcare system at all. Republicans wanted to keep it as it was. Now they pulled back on the Pre-Existing Condition some, although most acknowledging that we need some protection for those with PIC's, and look at the uproar.

We are still miles ahead of where we were 8 years ago. Its hard for us progressives to ever accept a half a step back, but it happens, and we still have made real progress. In another 4 or 8 years, we will make a new big step forward.

In the Clinton years, it was an uproar that Bill Clinton tried to let homosexuals openly serve in the military, now... They are guaranteed a right to marry, and all the protections that go along with that.

If you take a 10 year view, we almost always make progress. Don't lose track of that and keep fighting to move forward.

20 years ago Democrats controlled the Congress for over three decades. Since BillyBob, Democrats have lost control of just about everything.

Sexual harassment claims in the military have risen exponentially thanks to the idiotic notion that women should serve in combat roles.

Liberals have given a megaphone, through the FAKE media, to derelicts, criminals, losers and freaks. The ramifications of this will take decades, but it will serve to further diminish us as a society.

Liberals lack the basic intelligence to comprehend this. At some point, society will have had enough.

Its hard to take such ignorance seriously. You stupidly believe that judicial activism indicates societal change even as Democrats, who celebrate criminal malfeasance and freaks, losses pile up and a guy like Trump becomes YOUR President.

You have to be living in a cave, or DC, to stupidly think that Democrats are still winning.

I think it's pretty promising she got 37% of the vote in a country such as france. Maybe after a few more visits from the islamic truck of tolerance she'll get even more votes the next time around. :) America is a leader, we will always smash the false song of globalism before other countries are ready too. That's what being a leader is all about.
