The left has demolished the "arena of ideas". The absolute best example of that is how they respond when a black votes for a republican. The Congressional black caucus refused admission to a black conservative congressman. From what I can see the left is about ideas but not about opposing ideas and I gave 2 perfect examples.

And because they do so, sometimes without recognizing when they are hurting America or when they are on the wrong side of an issue or they do what they do without recognizing the adverse consequences of their actions (don't ask me for examples, I don't spend time railing at them, I just make a tic mark every time they do some ill considered thing) affects America, the caucus might be viewed as a cancerous caucus.

But to someone who doesn't live in America and doesn't give a damn about what happens to America, you have the luxury of disregarding what they do to harm America. You simply cite the good intentions and saunter off to hurt America somewhere else and in some other manner.

I was once interested in enjoying the affections of a sexy co-worker and was at her apartment and saw a cat dish on the kitchen floor with days old dried up, nasty looking uneaten canned cat food.

And before I could sit down in her parlor and get comfortable, she opened up a new can and dumped it on top of the mess of old cat food.

I found an excuse to leave and I never went back.

She didn't give a shit about the cat except to do a half ass job of casually throwing good food on top of bad.
