Less religious docs. or hospitals ???

Hey, those workers knew the game when they pursued their careers.

I disagree. No one should be asked to act/perform in a way that is against conscience. This is one area where I definitely disagree with the Obama administration. Remember, we aren't talking about nurses who choose to work at abortion clinics.

Nurses do not choose where they work?

I guess we need the Jehovas witnesses to run the red cross blood center?

Would Pentecostal DR's have to wear a blindfold while working on women?

How far does this kind of stuff go?

It should depend on some factors, including who funds the hospital.

If the hospital or medical facility receives government funding, then the procedures should be done regardless of the religious beliefs of the medical staff.

You'd think that most doctors not wanting to perform abortions would choose to opt for a medical career path involving, say, brain surgery or proctology, in fact anything other than fiddling around with women's parts.

On the other hand you shouldn't knock something 'till you've tried it so, doctors, why not give abortion a go, eh? It might be more fun than you thought.

will this cover private practice or just public funded medical professionals?

also, what about pharmacists, will they have to dispense birth control related prescriptions?
