Gary Johnson is the only sensible choice.

It depends on where those votes come from. I can safely vote for Johnson, and have zero effect on the election (minus the popular tally), because I know WA is going for Obama (might go Republican in the governor race, though...).

Why? He's just going to siphon off votes from Romney and give repubs even less chance of taking the WH.

Because I will no longer hold my nose while voting for President. I want to actually vote for someone I like. While Romney is more knowledgeable about business and economics than Obama, I don't see him putting forth the change we need. I see him pussyfooting around for four years to try and get re-elected and then coasting in a second term if he gets it. Just as every Rep and Dem seem to do these days.

Don't look at the national poll #'s their not representative. We don't elect POTUS on popular vote. Look at the polls in the swing States. By electoral count Obama has a significant lead. That could change between now and the election but if the election were held today Obama would be re-elected.
