Jesus. Nothing Conservatives have said for the past year was true. At all. This is an unprecedented amount of political irresponsibility. Honestly, after this, why should I ever trust anything a conservative says again? They will say literally anything, anything at all, to gain political points, they will lie and they will cheat. It's simply disgusting. They have no respect for democracy at all. They just think they have some god-given right to be in power, and using any tactic, no matter how dirty, is completely and totally fine. Their entire ideology is built on one lie after another after another after another. There is nothing true about modern conservatism. It's all paranoia and smoke and mirrors.

You don't understand politics my friend. It doesn't matter if what the right wing said was a pack of lies, and in the case of ACORN and Climate Gate, it was. What matters is that ACORN was fatally damaged and Climatoligist credibility has been wrongfully but seriously damaged by these false allegations. The fact that they lied to reach these objectives is secondary to the fact that they achieved their goals.

You do make a half assed point. The former speaker of the house is also a PhD and though his academic background isn't quite up to hers he does have more experience in politics at a higher level then Maddow. It would be interesting to see the two debate.

Though I doubt much you'd be interested in that as you probably can't afford the cost of an interpretor to translate for you.
