Fuck you, that ain't nothing American, bitch!
There's non-coms and commissioned officers, but not "grandees" here.

Is that so?

The term derives from old Spanish and Portuguese terms. In English, its use is now quite common.

That is so. Matt happens to be right on this one.

The term 'grandee' became part of the English lexicon around the 1590's, stemming from Portugese.
It refers to a noble of the highest rank (a 'grand noble'). There are no nobles or other titles of nobility in the United States (other than the use of the word 'czar', which refers to a dictator, and is used as an unofficial 'title' for some bureaucrats (unconstitutionally). The title 'czar' for a bureaucrat was started by Democrats in media.

The word 'grandee' is not commonly used, since it refers to an obsolete title of nobility.

Wrong again, Matt. I've always been an ops guy, not a paper pusher.
You're a mentally diseased moron, not an operator.
Yeah, we are not the same. I'm not even an operator, I'm from way out in Tom Brown's Field Guide to Survival land.
The chances of you you getting me, vs. those of me getting you are not good. :dunno:
You are aware that literature is required in a few branches of Special Forces, no?
They do not train them to be pussies like you.
Knowing that is required by The Green Berets and Rangers, tardo.
