Let's just recognize that Obama was ineligible to be President ... but that we can't go back in time and undo anything. Let's just move on. Let's drop all the "birther" crap and "Kenya" and what have you.

What is preventing us from just closing the history books?

I think this is the usual 'hey, look over there' routine so they don't have to talk about Trump and his dismal failure as a President.

It's not conservatives who are keeping the issue alive. It's always some Leftist bringing up how conservative asked to see a valid birth certificate ... in the past. Leftists keep the ball rolling. I was just asked by a Leftist out of the blue if I had found Obama's Kenya birth certificate (completely unrelated to the topic at hand).

I'm asking leftists if there's any hope we can just close it out. Fine, Obama never provided a valid birth certificate. Conservatives have, for the most part, dropped the issue because we can't go back in time. The ball is in the Leftist's court.

Are you saying that your denial of Trump's unprecedented successes is what prevents you from just moving on regarding Obama's ineligibility for the Presidency?

Some people cannot learn. Obama permitted his birth certificate to be seen in public. He should not have done it. Trump said he sent lawyers to Hawaii to investigate and they found many things,. He sent nobody and that was a normal Trump lie. I did not think anyone was so stupid that they could not figure out I was a big Trumpain lie. IBedeidiot should be ashamed.

I have seen some Leftists bring it up, but only to point out that Trump's entire political career has been about racism and conspiracy theories. Which I think is pretty fair. The Birther conspiracy was his first political conspiracy and after it was debunked, he refused to apologize for it. Of course they wanted to point out the beginning of when this started.

I've seen Fashies bring it up about as often as Leftists. I think they bring it up for different reasons. For the Left, it's a reminder that we should have known Trump would be this way in the beginning. For the Right, it's because there's nothing else they can condemn Obama for.

How was that a "conspiracy." Obama never produced a valid, original birth certificate and here you are BLAMING someone (Trump) for demanding to see it. Obama was REQUIRED to produce it. Every and all Americans had the right to see it before allowing Obama to assume the Presidency ... ergo you are the problem here. You should be thanking Trump for remaining vigilant on that matter on behalf of We the People. Nobody should be allowed to become President who is not a natural born citizen.

How come Trump never showed us his birth certificate? One of his parents was an immigrant too. Maybe he was born in the UK.
How many other candidates were REQUIRED to show a birth certificate? Is it only the black ones?
