Well, first of all, abortions are not going to be made illegal.
Even if Roe is overturned abortion will still be legal. It will then be up to each State.
If people don't get back alley abortions they will simply travel to a State where they can exercise their freedom of choice to decide what happens with their own body.
The second claim is absurd. Liberals claim no such thing.
It should also be noted that owning a gun does not necessarily make you 'safe' either. You could be victimized when you don't have it handy, caught off guard, or be so nervous without proper and regular training to be a killer, that you choke up under pressure, unable to hit a target, or fumbling too much to load.
You can hedge your bets, have the gun just in case, but you might end up being another statistic. Guns in the home are more likely to be used in an accident than for self-defense. Most people live a perfectly good life without ever needing a gun, whether they own one or not.
But it is good to have the 2nd amendment and some gun rights. That way, strangers never know if you are armed or not. The knowledge that you COULD be is as effective a deterrent as really having one.

Whats a fact? Be specific. I assume you're referring to illegal abortions. If so, you are correct. But what historical data do you feel supports the second claim? Btw, how many gun deaths occurred in Chicago the last few days? I hear they have some really tough gun control laws. Why are they not safe? Why are people being gunned down on a daily basis?

Your generalizing what you think is "liberal" arguments
People aren't advocating getting rid of the Second Amendment, rather controlling access to what is too many guns out there. No right is absolute, gun rights can be regulated
If you just have a gun on your property your chances of being a victim of a gun increases dramatically. The probability of you get shot by a complete stranger compared to getting shot by someone you know is minimal at best. Just having a gun in the vicinity escalates violent situations
And though you hear it often, no way to deny it, if more guns is suppose to make us safer the US, which has nearly as many guns as people, should currently be one of the safest nations in the world, which it isn't even close to being
