Yes, the 12th Day of Christmas is the Epiphany.
The way the story is told in Italian parishes like my old parish, three wise guys, all bosses of prominent families, checked out the baby Jesus and gave the thumbs up that the kid was legit.
To me, it's the day before the day that my wife designates for removing the Christmas decorations.
We're always the last ones on the block, but that's her tradition for whatever reason.
