liberals attacking hamburgers to fight GW

The beef industry is a horribly inefficient use of resources.

But the global warming garbage is not why it should be attacked.

The volume of steroids, hormones, antibiotics and other additives in commercially grown beef is astounding.
 
I don't doubt the science,
but we are obviously not giving up hamburgers.
Progressive Dems would be better off focusing on achievable practicle goals.
 
Well, we already got McDonalds to stop selling its Super Size, and the frivolous lawsuits against fastfood continue to roll off of the assembly line.

I do recall when one who espoused bovine flatulence as damaging the ozone layer was known as president Reagan.
 
There was a great computer game I played where the profile of the futuristic Neptune had all of Earth's cattle having been shipped there because of their methane gas. As you go along, you see sickly, awkwardly colored cows grazing in the background.

The game is called Lenny Loosejocks in Outer Space, and was quite humorous.

I remember him saying something about trees, not farts. Many of the people who are against Kyoto definitely stated things about cow farts. But Reagan was long into dementia by the time Kyoto rolled around.
