I have a plasma....and here's a novel idea....turn the damned thing off when you're not watching it.

I am fairly certain we in america burn more electricity than several countries do. Just by leaving our cell phone chargers plugged in when not actually charging with them.

Yeah, it's funny that you mention that. Prior to November of 2008 the energy star ratings on TVs only measured energy use when the TVs were off not when they were on.
