Religion of peace culturally enriches 95 in Kabul; more diversity expected
Deveoping news emerges out of the Afghan capital of Kabul where at least 95 people are dead and dozens more are injured in an attack claimed by the Taliban.
It happened early this morning near the former Interior Ministry Building.
In recent months the Taliban has conducted similar attacks across the capital, including last week’s strike on a luxury hotel, where more than 20 people were killed.
The death toll from this morning’s attack is expected to rise, at least 95 people have been killed in Afghanistan and around 150 wounded in the suicide blast.
Officials say the huge bomb was hidden in an ambulance and exploded in an area near foreign embassies and government buildings.
The vehicle is reported to have detonated in an area close to public transport after being driven past a police checkpoint.

Afghan refugee Ramin Azimi and burned his Finnish girlfriend alive in January 2015, after a dispute.
He appealed against his life sentence at Finland’s Supreme Court on Thursday.
According to media in Finland, “he couldn’t deal with her ending their relationship”. The court states that Azimi “first raped the girl in a nightclub in Ulvila. Then he transported her to the town of Kokemäki by car, moved her to a wooden house, doused her in gasoline and burned her alive.”

Muslim students 'culturally enrich' their classmates
Muslim high school students led an assault against 35 of their Christian peers at a high school in Nairobi, Kenya on Tuesday. Any student who refused to convert to Islam was stabbed, slashed with machetes, or beaten.
The incident began when Muslim students began shouting at their classmates before they began their assault, trying to force the Christians to convert with threats of violence. If the Christians students refused, they were stabbed and beaten.
Many students have been hospitalized for treatment for their stab wounds and dislocated bones. The principal is also being treated for injuries.
Pending a police investigation, the school has been forced to close its doors.
This comes after several incidents in Kenya where extremist Muslims have led assaults against Christians. In July, the al-Qaeda linked terror group, Al Shabaab, murdered 13 civilians in the village of Kipini.
