'Like a campaign rally': Trump to impose 'big show' on suffering East Palestine resid

A Fox Business report indicated that former President Donald Trump would treat residents of East Palestine, Ohio to something "like a campaign rally" while they are suffering from a noxious train derailment.


Before Trump's Wednesday visit, Fox Business host Stuart Varney and Fox News reporter Mike Tobin reflected on the former president's plans.

"He's going to put on a big show," Varney revealed. "It's going to be like a campaign rally."

"It probably will be something like that," Tobin agreed. "And you don't have to be Nostradamus to predict that he will make the statement that he would have handled it better."

obin revealed schools were closed in the town due to security for Trump's visit.

"The mayor of this town says he doesn't want this to become a political circus, and frankly, Stuart, it's a little late for that," the reporter concluded.

The derailment is a product of wealthy and corporations slashing regulations. They simply do not care about the people. It is all about maxing profits. They spend millions of political donations and lobbying to make fewer regulations. They know it is more dangerous and people will be hurt. That does not factor into their business models. Trump is a spokesman for that thinking. He does not care about laws and regulations. They are simply to be evaded. Use the courts to prevent any responsibility for what you do. Trump gladly dumped the railroad regulations.

I was especially moved by Biden concern for others when he told blacks they ain't black if they aren't sure who they are supporting. And the lefts treatment of black conservatives is nothing but caring. You are major league idiot.

I hope people there realize due to Trump’s deregulations they were put at risk.

Biden on the other hand had time to put out and executive order to give an Indian tribe emergency relief money because it was cold and snowy on their reservation for a few days. Can't be bothered to help people in East Palestine because they're being poisoned by toxic water and air that his agencies helped create however...

I hope that you realize that the law you are talking about requiring valid testing for regulations that caused the EDP brakes to be removed from regulatory requirements was passed in 2015 when Trump hadn't even announced his run for President yet and that the testing for this was done in 2016 when he was not President. It's always intriguing to watch folks try to blame somebody they hate while ignoring when the laws were passed and the testing done.
