Cheney will survive and will have a long career in Politics.
Greene is testing the GOP to see how far right it can be pushed and who will control the future of the Party. Her days are numbered and I doubt she will be in office at the end of this year. Once out of office she should immediately seek professional help from a mental health professional.

I've been studying the videos of Matt Gaetz visit to Wyoming.
That is just not that big a crowd. Not a big crowd at all. (The camera pans the crowd in the beginning and in the end.)
And the sound system has dinky little speakers sitting right there in front of him. That indicates to me they did not expect a very large crowd. For a large crowd the speakers are normally elevated above the heads of the audience.
Looks to me like there were fewer than 100 people there to listen to Gaetz trying to get her primaried.

It will be interesting to see how it plays out. Definitely the (R)s are afraid of the Cult even though its leader has been deposed from our government.
There's a new movement up here to put pressure on campaign donors to "Defund Jack Bergman." A former Marine general, he went along with the "election was stolen" nonsense up to the very end. If nothing else he should be removed from office for violating both of his oaths to uphold the Constitution. I hope similar efforts against other seditionists will arise and have success. It's past time to restore sanity in that party.

I agree 100% with all of that. I would add that we will not have to wait long to see how the GOP Civil War is going to turn out, the Cheney and Greene issues will give us a clearer picture which direction they are headed. Personally I believe that if the far right wings control of the GOP the Normal Republicans need to break away, and though it would split the Party and ensure Dem control for at least 8 years they would eventually rebuild and the odds are a far right GOP would lose members in droves, crazy tends to have that impact.

I like to believe that most (R) voters are not nutjobs and would not support a candidate like a Green. But then I foolishly didn't believe that evangelicals would support a class-less serial adulterer, conman, cheat, and liar like #TRE45ON either. Apparently if the candidate is certifiably insane but opposes anything (D), they'd vote for them anyways.
Many Repubs simply vote straight ticket and have been for years, which always amazed me since many are actually voting against their own best interests in the process. They have been fed a load of lies and the last administration was proof that many prefer Lies over the Truth, yes, it does not make sense but that is using Logical thinking, something that has died off within their ranks. Don't get me wrong, I do not think all, or even a majority, of Republicans are members of the brainwashed cult, and what we see happening within the GOP right now is proof that not all Repubs are on board with where the far right wants to take them. I wish the sane among the GOP good luck in their fight to retain, or is that regain, their Party, the far right hiding behind the GOP label is not good for the Nation.

It is funny how they try comparing AOC with Greene, when no matter how you cut it Greene is crazy as a bed bug and will only get worse the longer she is in Congress. AOC may not always have the best workable ideas, she is the next Bernie, but she is at least sane and dealing with reality. AOC will outlast Greene by a mile in Politics, count on that.
AOC has some very liberal ideas and politics, but she is not a kook who believes all kinds of lies and conspiracy theories, I love how they try to compare them.
